Job summary

Utilize precision instruments, read blueprints with GD&T, and document results to support continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence. Collaboration with machinists on the shop floor is essential to deliver high-quality components on time.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in quality control, inspection, or a related manufacturing role.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished and in-process parts for dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and conformance to specifications
• Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part tolerances
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality control records
• Identify, tag, and report non-conforming parts and coordinate corrective actions
• Collaborate with machinists and fabricators to resolve quality issues on the shop floor
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve production quality
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, blueprints, and internal quality standards
