Job summary

Avalign Technologies Inc in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, drawings, work orders, and quality standards.

You will use Micro-Vu, Keyence, optical comparators, micrometers and calipers, document inspection results, identify nonconformances, and collaborate across teams to maintain traceability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints with GD&T and inspection methodologies.
• Strong mathematical skills including unit conversions and precision measurements.
• Five years of related experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.
• Ability to communicate professionally across teams.
• Willingness to learn CMM operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections to ensure product conformance to specifications.
• Operate measurement equipment such as Micro-Vu, Keyence, and calipers.
• Complete inspection records and documentation with accuracy.
• Identify and isolate non-conforming products and generate nonconformance reports.
• Maintain traceability by documenting shop travelers and inspection forms.
• Collaborate with peers and other departments to keep processes efficient.
• Support additional quality-related tasks as directed.
