Job summary

Super Radiator Coils in Richmond, VA is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet specifications. The role supports continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with opportunities on first and second shifts.

The candidate will read drawings, use calipers and micrometers, and document results while communicating findings to production teams. ISO 9001 familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
• Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection processes.
• Ability to document inspection results and communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Use precision measurement tools to verify dimensions.
• Identify nonconforming material and initiate NCRs as required.
• Communicate quality issues to production and leadership teams.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce defects and variation.
• Perform random audits to verify process compliance.
• Maintain clean and organized work area in alignment with 5S standards.
