Job summary

DwyerOmega in Grandview, MO is seeking a QC Inspector to examine incoming parts, in-process items and finished goods to ensure conformance with quality-control requirements. You will use a range of test devices and measuring instruments and report any nonconformities to supervision.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of using prints, instruments, and gages.
• Know engineering requirements and simple sampling techniques.
• Experienced in a variety of product lines and parts manufacturing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming parts to print and specification using test devices and measuring instruments.
• Inspect first piece and random samples across injection and compression, molding, machine shop, and assembly operations for conformance to drawings.
• Inspect finished product for workmanship, calibration and conformance to data.
• Follow instructions regarding sample sizes and rejection standards.
• Periodically inspect in-process work according to route and sampling instructions.
