Job summary

Blachford in Wisconsin seeks a meticulous Quality Inspector to ensure materials, products, and processes conform to print specs. You will inspect assemblies and components, support calibration activities, and assist with PPAPs and process improvements.

Experience with ISO systems and blueprint interpretation is preferred. Strong math, reading, and communication skills are essential to work with operators and QHSE leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 6 months related experience.
• Must understand ISO system and manufacturing background.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Determine materials, products and processes meet print specifications.
• Inspect assemblies, units and components per work order instructions.
• Assist operators with dimensional questions per the work order.
• Perform first piece and final inspections per Quality Procedures.
• Coordinate internal and external calibrations.
• Support PPAP activities upon customer requests.
• Assist QHSE Director with corrective actions and improving work instructions.
