Job summary

You will use calipers, micrometers, and hardness testers, document NCRs, and collaborate across departments. The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

This position supports manufacturing quality and customer satisfaction by preventing defects and ensuring compliance with ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of quality process experience preferred.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems preferred.
• Experience using precision measurement tools in metal fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections using work instructions, checklists, and technical drawings as guidelines.
• Prioritize inspection tasks as directed by the Operations Supervisors to support efficient workflow and achieve departmental goals.
• Identify and document non-conforming products through Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to ensure quality control.
• Verify that all NCRs are resolved before finalizing product inspections.
• Utilize precision and non-precision gauges, meters, and tools to assess product conformity against acceptance criteria.
