Job summary

Filtration Group is seeking an In-Process Quality Inspector to support manufacturing and quality operations. You will perform in-process inspections, inspect incoming raw materials, and assist with final product inspections as needed, using calipers, micrometers, rulers, and gauges.

Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills are essential. The role requires ability to read basic drawings and work instructions, high school diploma, and the capacity to work in a manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• General understanding of quality inspection methods and measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, specifications, and work instructions preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of Microsoft Office or similar programs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process inspections of manufactured products throughout production operations.
• Perform receiving inspections on incoming raw materials and components to verify compliance with specifications and purchase requirements.
• Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation and inspection records.
• Identify and report nonconforming materials or products to Quality and Production personnel.
• Assist with containment, segregation, and disposition of rejected materials.
• Support production teams by helping ensure products meet company and customer quality standards.
• Provide backup support for Final Inspection activities, including inspection of completed finished products prior to shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality system requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and quality initiatives as assigned.
