Job summary

Dexter Magnetic Technologies is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 to inspect products at multiple production stages and identify gaps in quality under our QMS. The role requires using precision tools to verify dimensions and document results, with training provided for reading drawings.

You will audit incoming materials, verify ERP records, and support QC team members while maintaining a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced environment. Competitive hourly pay reflects aerospace/medical device focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training is a plus.
• 1+ year experience in quality control inspection, preferably aerospace or medical devices.
• Interest in developing skills in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of measurement tools and willingness to learn technical procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow written instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aerospace, medical, semiconductor components and assemblies to industry standards and Dexter specs.
• Perform first article inspections with QC leadership approval.
• Use micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other tools to measure dimensions and tolerances.
• Audit incoming materials against drawings, PO requirements, Dexter/industry standards.
• Review and verify in-process documentation and Epicor transactions for accuracy.
