Job summary

MicroVision, a leader in advanced perception solutions, seeks an Operations Quality Technician to safeguard product quality on the production floor in Orlando, FL. You will perform inspections, measure with precision tools, and drive containment and resolution of quality issues across incoming materials to final shipment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5+ years in a quality inspection role within manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Proficient with manual precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process including soldering, and final inspections against drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Operate and maintain precision measurement equipment and record results with traceability.
• Identify, document, segregate, and tag nonconforming material; initiate NCRs in the QMS.
• Lead containment actions, including sorting, rework verification, and quarantine control.
• Support MRB activities and disposition of nonconforming product; assist engineers with root-cause analysis (5 Whys, fishbone) and verify CAPA effectiveness.
• Conduct process, product, and system audits; ensure calibration of inspection equipment and adherence to control plans.
