Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in inspection-related fields is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures and quality plans pertaining to inspection activities.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers; eye exam is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials to meet customer requirements for assigned jobs; main focus on flat parts inspection.
• Demonstrate proficiency in inspection tools through practical application and written exams.
• Verify surface quality based on established acceptance/reject criteria.
• Package materials according to the Quality plan and identify per procedures.
• Calibrate instruments before each batch of material inspection.
• Follow safety, security, and environmental standards, including 5S practices.
• Make decisions on rework, scrap, and storage using Operations Process Management concepts.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to ensure conformance and quality.
