Job summary

Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector I in Huntsville to perform detailed receiving, kitting, or shipping inspections of products for compliance with the technical data package. The role requires reading engineering drawings, using calibrated gauges, and documenting results to support quality and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of quality experience, familiarity with DoD standards, and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year quality experience and familiarity with gov't/commercial standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with Costpoint or other ERP/MRP systems.
• Understanding of IPC/WHMA-620 and MIL-STD-454 preferred.
• Understanding of IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 preferred.
• Familiarity with ANSI/ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess general condition, count, and conformity to Mil Standard hardware, hazmat, and assembly kits.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, POs, and SOW to determine quality status.
• Pull correct drawings or specifications based on the work package.
• Use calibrated measuring instruments to confirm dimensional compliance.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, Go/No-Go, rules, tape measures, and pin gauges.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Learn and take on new tasks in dynamic environments.
• Determine acceptance or rejection of materials and document non-conformances thoroughly.
• Communicate effectively with Engineering and Program support to resolve problems.
• Perform AS9102 First Article Inspections as required.
• Document inspection results using MS Office and maintain paperwork.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the quality program.
• Other duties as directed by the Quality Supervisors.
