Elmet Technologies is seeking a Quality Inspector in Euclid, OH to perform physical, dimensional, and visual inspections of rolled, machined, and fabricated parts. You will verify conformance to drawings, specs, and quality plans, support production, and document results.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing/quality inspection experience, strong math and measurement skills, and proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and GD&T.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing, machining, or quality inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to understand inspection data and relate it to the part.
• Strong math skills used in dimensional inspection.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, or similar tools.
• Ability to read and work from technical documentation and inspection requirements.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Clear communication with production and quality teams.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and consistent execution.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article inspections before full-scale manufacturing.
• Conduct dimensional, physical, and visual inspections of manufactured products.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Gather and report quality data and performance indicators.
• Collaborate with production teams to complete inspections on schedule.
• Ensure inspected products move efficiently to the next work center.
