Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a precision machining team in Minnesota. You will perform in-process and final inspections, read blueprints, and apply GD&T while learning CMM operations through company training.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years using micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Experience inspecting machined parts and applying GD&T.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work a long-term 2nd shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on precision machined parts.
• Verify dimensional accuracy using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Apply GD&T principles during inspection activities.
• Complete first article inspection reports and document findings.
• Support inspection of CNC machined components and communicate quality concerns.
