Job summary

Westfall Technik, in Ansonia, CT, is seeking a Quality Inspector for a full-time, on-site role. You will inspect materials and finished products, perform visual and dimensional inspections, document findings, and collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues.

The position requires First Article, In-Process, and Final inspections, CMM testing, and adherence to QMS and cGMP. Training of Inspector Packers and involvement in audits are part of the role, with strong safety practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time management, organization, and planning.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to promote a team atmosphere in the department.
• Self-starter with high initiative.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified standards and customer requirements.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using measuring tools.
• Document findings and report defects to resolve issues with teams.
• Use CMM for precise dimensional testing and record results.
• Maintain quality documentation and support audits.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and cGMP.
• Support training of Inspector Packers.
• Sort defective products and perform rework.
• Verify safety devices and follow PPE protocols.
