Celeros Flow Technology in Houston, TX is seeking an Inspector to perform visual and precision inspection of manufactured parts for dimensional and GD&T, using CMM, portable arm, and portable scanner. You will interact with Manufacturing, Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Accounting, and Shipping/Receiving to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.

Responsibilities include creating NCRs, documenting in SAP, reviewing materials from vendors, and guiding Level I inspectors.

Qualifikationen

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-5 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification in Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, or CWI (Preferred)

Aufgaben

• Performing visual, mechanical inspection of purchased or manufactured parts to determine conformance to drawings and standards.
• Using precision measuring equipment (calipers, height gage, micrometers, surface plate, Arm, optical comparator) for inspections.
• Preparing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and processing them per procedures.
• Documenting nonconformances in SAP-NCR module and completing SAP transactions.
• Reviewing and verifying materials received from vendors.
• Witnessing internal testing procedures and verifying results.
• Interpreting and executing an Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Interfacing with third-party inspectors to verify completion of customer requests.
• Providing on-the-job training to Level I inspection personnel.
