Job summary

Metallized Carbon Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our carbon graphite manufacturing team. You will inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in quality, manufacturing technology, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical inspection methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in use of inspection tools and gauges.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of carbon graphite products.
• Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately using quality records, reports, and checklists.
• Identify and report non-conformances; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Work closely with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Support calibration of inspection tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and comply with safety and quality policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
