Job summary

Torrey Holistics in New Hampshire is seeking a Precision Quality Inspector to verify incoming aerospace components and perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, surface plates, and CMMs.

You will document results, support audits, and back up quality data daily, while ensuring compliance with QMS and customer specifications, including FAIs aligned to QMS and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on inspection experience in aerospace or regulated precision manufacturing.
• Fluency reading drawings, specs, tolerances and manufacturing travelers.
• Comfort with analog and digital measurement tools and instruments.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T and traceability of results.
• Meticulous, detail-focused, and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and visual inspections at receiving, in-process, and final stages.
• Create, organize, and maintain inspection documentation with full traceability.
• Enter and back up inspection data for QMS requirements and customer specs.
• Support calibration and upkeep of measurement devices per QP 7.6 and ISO 10012.
• Assist during internal, customer, and third-party audits.
• Disposition discrepant material with Project Engineers.

Step into a day on our Quality teamAs a Precision Quality Inspector, your morning might start at receiving, where you verify incoming aerospace components with micrometers and calipers on a surface plate. Before lunch, you’re on the production floor, running in-process checks with height gages, indicators, thread and plug gages, and an optical comparator.
