Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a QA Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team in New Hampshire. You will perform mechanical and visual inspection of manufactured products at receiving, in-process, and final stages, using precision tools and CMMs.

• 3–5 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace or regulated precision-manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and manufacturing travelers.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspection on manufactured products using precision tools and CMMs.
• Create and maintain inspection records and documentation.
• Enter and manage data to support QMS data-gathering requirements.
• Assist with internal, customer, and third-party audits.
• Support calibration and maintenance of measuring devices per ISO 10012.
• Dispositon discrepant material in collaboration with Project Engineers.

Quality Assurance InspectorWe're hiring a QA Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team, reporting to the QA Manager. This role is responsible for mechanical and visual inspection of manufactured products at receiving, in-process, and final stages.What you'll do:Perform mechanical inspection on a variety of manufactured products using tools like micrometers, calipers, height gages, surface plates, optical comparators, air gaging, thread gages, plug gages, and CMMsConduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) per QMS and customer requirementsCreate and maintain inspection records and documentation (computer and manual)Enter and manage data to support QMS data-gathering requirementsSupport calibration and maintenance of measuring devices per QP 7.6 and ISO 10012Assist with internal, customer, and third-party auditsPerform daily backups of quality dataSupport Project Engineers in dispositioning discrepant materialUphold and promote company Quality Policies and ObjectivesWhat we're looking for:3–5 years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace or similarly regulated precision-manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and manufacturing travelersProficiency with both analog and digital inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators, and bore gaugesBasic working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)Ability to accurately document inspection results and maintain traceable quality recordsBasic computer skillsStrong attention to detail, with the judgment to escalate questionable conditions rather than make unsupported assumptionsYou should be proficient in:GD&TAerospace ManufacturingPrecision Measurement & InspectionBlueprint ReadingISO 10012CMMMachines & technologies you'll use:Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)Measurement GaugesCalipers and Micrometers
