Job summary

QA1 in Lakeville, MN is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect incoming and in-process parts, document results, and drive quality improvements across operations. You will use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances, review drawings, and maintain meticulous records.

The role supports cross-training and ongoing development within a dynamic team. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year in a related role, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year in similar capacity.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prints.
• Prior experience with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, scales).
• Ability to independently use a variety of inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, scales, tape measures, indicators).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Able to work with a diverse team and independently in a busy environment.
• Willingness to cross-train and learn.
• Able to meet physical requirements including 8–10 hour standing and lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Experience with ERP system Syteline.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and in-process parts to ensure specifications.
• Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Use precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Review drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate inspection and documentation.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Support development and implementation of quality procedures and standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
