Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience or training preferred; combinations considered.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of GD&T and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators).
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with MS Office and SAP is a plus.
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect parts for quality against requirements.
• Verify documentation and paperwork for accuracy.
• Read blueprints to determine specifications and tolerances.
• Use inspection tools to complete dimensional reports.
• Initiate containment when discrepancies are identified.
• Review data collection based on drawings, models, and PPAP standards.
• Participate in Gage R&R studies.
• Act as a third-party between production and customer to ensure quality.
• Perform inspections with minimal supervision.
• Communicate findings and non-conformances to stakeholders.
• Read and follow work instructions and processes.
• Use measuring equipment as needed.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and safety policies.
• Collect and record inspection data.
• Utilize the company portal for time tracking and policy acknowledgements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
