Job summary

Rittal LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift in Urbana, OH. The role focuses on meticulous inspection of parts, documentation verification, and adherence to GD&T standards to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications.

You will use calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools, read blueprints, and participate in data collection, PPAP standards, and containment actions when needed. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of GD&T and measurement tools.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect parts for compliance with quality requirements.
• Read blueprints to determine specifications and tolerances for machined components and assemblies.
• Use inspection tools to complete dimensional reports.
• Initiate containment activities when discrepancies are identified.
• Communicate inspection findings and non-conformances to relevant stakeholders.
• Read and follow work instructions and general processes.
