Job summary

United Precision in Washougal, WA is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect products, materials, and components to ensure compliance with quality standards. You will conduct routine checks, testing, and measurements on machined and assembled goods to detect defects and deviations from design specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
• Good teamwork, dependable, communication, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Communicate quality requirements to Machine Operators, Assembly Techs, and management as necessary.
• Read and interpret engineering and customer drawings/specifications to ensure conformance of parts.
• Maintain detailed records of quality control tests, inspection reports, and non-conformance issues within Quality Management and ERP systems.
• Perform first article inspections, spot checks, and in-process inspections.
• Isolate and document non-conforming products.
• Sort and certify rejected/scrapped non-conforming products.
• Maintain consistent, high-quality inspection rates in alignment with departmental KPIs.
• Perform other quality control duties as assigned.
