Job summary

Fellowes Brands in Itasca, IL is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to conduct inspections and tests on parts and assemblies to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications. You will support Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing, maintain clean work areas, and generate inspection reports with SPC charts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college coursework is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings.
• Experience with metrology equipment is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office; Oracle Systems a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and tests on incoming parts and finished goods to meet quality standards.
• Support Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and performance goals.
• Generate and maintain inspection reports and SPC charts.
• Communicate status of incoming products to relevant teams.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding quality problems.
• Perform daily tasks with accuracy and detail.
