Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform a variety of quality control duties ensuring that manufactured sub-assemblies, parts, and assembled machines meet design specifications and requirements. This position reports to the Production Manager.

3–5 years of experience in quality inspection is preferred; strong reading of Cad drawings and gauge calibration knowledge are desired. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the role as part of Modern Packaging.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in quality inspection of manufactured parts.
• Knowledge of calibration of gauges and measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret Cad drawings.

Responsibilities

• Measure incoming materials by confirming specifications and perform visual and measurement tests.
• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications and communicating adjustments to production supervisor.
• Approve returning internal and external products for re-work, confirming re-work.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; input data into an MRP system.
