Job summary

Ferrotec is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Livermore, CA to perform precision inspections of machined components and assemblies. You will read engineering drawings, apply accuracy standards, and document results in QC records.

You will use calipers, height gauges, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges, calibrate instruments, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality throughout production cycles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED; 1–3 years in manufacturing or 3 years in a technical position.
• Experience with calipers, height gauge, micrometers, go/no-go gauges.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspection of precision-machined components per QC procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment; use close tolerance gaging.
• Fill out QC documents and reports; enter data daily.
• Interface with production, design and manufacturing engineers to resolve issues.
• Perform First Article, in-process, final and visual inspections.
