Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as Quality Inspector or in a similar role.
• Familiar with small-scale components and QC standards.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and technical instructions to understand product expectations.
• Approve or reject raw materials or finished parts based on quality standards.
• Measure part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, or gauges to verify tolerances.
• Maintain precise records of daily testing metrics, including defect counts.
• Report quality defects to the Quality Manager for resolution.
• Monitor equipment use to ensure tools are safe and well-maintained.
• Assist other departments with quality-related tasks as needed.
