The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, and experience in manufacturing. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and accurate record-keeping in a dynamic plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and ability to read, write and communicate clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and organization with basic math skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use measurement tools accurately.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plastic sheet surfaces for defects and quality issues.
• Measure dimensions (length, width, squareness) with tape measures.
• Verify thickness using micrometers and color with color measurement tools.
• Conduct shrinkage testing and collect production samples for testing.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Cross-train to support production and assist with additional duties.
