Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T symbols.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 quality systems and procedures.
• Certifications such as AWS CWI or ASQ CQT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspections on metal components and finished products.
• Compare parts to engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, bore gauges, and weld gauges.
• Inspect welds for conformity with AWS, ASME, or company standards.
• Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions in quality logs or digital systems.
• Work with supervisors and engineers to communicate quality issues clearly and promptly.
