Job summary

Anderson International Corp in STOW, OH 44224 is seeking a QC Technician to inspect materials and finished products for conformance to print standards. You will operate testing equipment, document defects and help isolate root causes to prevent non-conforming goods from reaching customers.

The role requires MS Excel/Outlook familiarity, strong math and print-reading skills, and prior machining/inspection experience.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Proficient math skills and print reading
• 5 years minimum experience as a Machinist preferred
• 3 years minimum experience as an In-Process Quality Inspector desired
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other mechanical measuring devices
• Experience with Polyworks preferred
• Candidate from the local area preferred
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently
• Highly organized with attention to detail, clarity and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for non-conformances to print dimensions
• Review and confirm first piece measurements with operators
• Inspect finished parts per QC sampling system
• Complete paperwork and enter results promptly
• Troubleshoot quality issues with components and finished goods
• Maintain QC calibration and maintenance records
• Communicate non-conformances and root-cause findings to QC Manager
• Support safety culture and environmental missions of the plant
