Job summary

The Lee Company in Connecticut is seeking a hands-on Quality Inspector to verify dimensions of precision fluid-control components using micrometers, CMMs, vision systems, and other inspection tools. You will program and operate automated inspection equipment to perform repeatable, high-accuracy checks and log results for traceability.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to lay out new fixtures, interpret GD&T and blueprints, and ensure processes follow prescribed parameters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Foundational knowledge of metrology, SPC and GD&T.
• Hands-on exposure to CMM, vision systems and automated inspection platforms.

Responsibilities

• Set up and use precision tools to verify critical dimensions.
• Program and operate automated inspection equipment for high-accuracy checks.
• Plan and lay out new inspection fixtures and maintain tools.
• Log and maintain inspection data in databases and software.
• Perform in-process and final inspections per PO/SO requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering to ensure processes follow specifications.
• Make accept/reject decisions within process specifications.
