Job summary

American GFM Corporation in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector on the day shift to help ensure the highest quality of machined parts and weldments. You will read blueprints, perform in-process and final inspections, document non-conformances, and collaborate with production to uphold our standards; experience with CMM and laser measurement systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for machined parts and weldments.
• Inspect parts to meet quality standards and document results.
• Measure dimensions and tolerances including run-out, concentricity, flatness and perpendicularity.
• Experience with measuring instruments such as height gauges and micrometers is required.

Responsibilities
