Job summary

Teledyne Micropac is seeking a QC Inspector to perform inspections, tests and sampling of product manufacturing to ensure quality standards are met.

Under limited supervision, you will inspect in-process assemblies (mount, bond, solder, coat, mark, can weld and seal), determine acceptance or rework, and support audits; you will document results and maintain quality records. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to MIL/IPC/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• One to three years manufacturing experience in inspection of standard electronic in line and final assemblies.
• High school education or equivalent; team environment; good attendance; willingness to learn new operations.
• Entry level to advanced computer knowledge.
• Determine acceptance or rejection criteria; perform bond pulls, ball and die shear, solder ability checks.
• Perform acceptance to ship and audit assembly process.
• Experience in a clean room environment.
• Adhere to quality, safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Flexible/adaptable mindset.
• MIL-Specs knowledge is an advantage; IPC/ISO knowledge also advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dimensional, visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections using approved methods.
• Document inspection results and maintain complete quality records.
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming material per procedures.
• Verify product identification, traceability, and configuration through inspection.
• Support coworkers and participate in cross-training for multiple product lines.
• Assist with internal, customer, and regulatory audits; prepare records and corrective actions.
