Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a manufacturing facility in Lino Lakes, MN. You will inspect machined products throughout the process to ensure they meet blueprint specifications, customer requirements, and company quality standards.

Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, experience with precision measuring equipment, and enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with quality and industry standards; experience with machined products is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, including dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, notes, and surface treatments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds independently and wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed shoes, and gloves.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet customer and company requirements.
• Inspect manufactured products for conformance to blueprints, customer specifications, dimensions, tolerances, and workmanship standards.
• Use precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to perform and document dimensional checks.
• Identify nonconforming products, document quality issues, and communicate concerns to the Inspection Lead or Manager.
• Verify product and material identification to maintain proper traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
