Job summary

Sanmina Corporation, a leading EMS provider, seeks a Quality Control Inspector for the 1st shift at our Newark, CA facility. You will determine product acceptance in-process and at final assembly by inspecting parts per drawings and workmanship standards, using measurement devices, and documenting results.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years QA experience in mechanical manufacturing, familiarity with GD&T, BOM interpretation, and basic inspection tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of quality assurance experience in a mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GD&T drawings per ASME standards.
• Experience reading BOMs and engineering specifications.
• Experience with basic inspection equipment such as bore gauge, caliper, micrometer.

Responsibilities

• Inspect metal components and electromechanical assemblies visually and dimensionally.
• Inspect machining, sheet metal, paint and weld across processes.
• Perform incoming inspection on purchased components and raw materials.
• Document and communicate non-conformances and inspection results.
• Assist in developing methods and procedures for inspection and control.
• Complete daily inspection activity reports.
