Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Fremont, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for the 2nd shift. You will determine product acceptance by inspecting parts per drawings and workmanship standards, using inspection instruments and documenting results.

The role requires 2+ years in mechanical QA, GD&T knowledge, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for overtime. This ITAR facility is US-citizen or permanent resident only, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Two years of quality assurance experience in a mechanical manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of GD&T drawings consistent with ASME standards latest revisions.
Experience with basic inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.).
Experience reading BOMs and customer engineering specifications.
Experience with CMM inspection is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect metal components and electromechanical assemblies visually and dimensionally.
Perform receiving inspections on incoming components and raw materials.
Develop methods and procedures for quality inspection and control.
Document and communicate non-conformances identified during inspection activities.
Complete daily reports of inspection activities.
Support calibration audits and internal calibration activities.
