Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for the Pamco Label facility in Des Plaines, IL. The role focuses on inspecting work in process and finished goods to ensure they meet product specifications and the company QA system.

Prior manufacturing, printing, or folding carton exposure is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a minimum high school diploma or GED, with two years of related experience and the ability to analyze details, document results, and work collaboratively

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree in related field preferred.
• Two years or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years or more of experience working in a manufacturing environment, printing, packaging or folding carton experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines purchase order and/or other documents to secure details regarding size, colors, content and other product characteristics being inspected for.
• Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications and company quality control system.
• Tests samples of product and documents results.
• Approves or rejects product and writes report of inspection results.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving.
