Job summary

Resource Label Group is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector at our Pamco Label location in Des Plaines, IL. This role focuses on inspecting work in process and finished goods to ensure adherence to product specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, printing, packaging, or folding carton environments; a background with SQF, AIB, or ISO exposure is a plus. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; college degree in related field preferred.
• Two years or more of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination.
• Two years or more of experience working in a manufacturing environment, printing, packaging or folding carton experience preferred.
• Inspections to ensure product conformance to order specifications and wy quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Examines purchase order and/or other documents to secure details regarding size, colors, content and other product characteristics being inspected for.
• Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system and conformity to specified standards.
• Tests samples of product and documents results.
• Approves or rejects product and writes report of inspection results.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations.
