John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline, IL is seeking a Production Welder to join a safety- and quality-focused team. You will weld parts and sub-assemblies, adjust settings, read work instructions, and keep records to ensure quality and traceability.

This role requires a welding certification or manufacturing welding experience, with the ability to stand, lift, and work any shift, including overtime. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• HS diploma or GED, or NCRC, or 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Weld certification (or equivalent) or 6+ months welding in manufacturing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work any shift and overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Weld parts and sub-assemblies to specification using various welding processes.
• Adjust voltage, heat, pressure, and speed to maintain quality.
• Read and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Record data and maintain quality/maintenance records.
• Check conformance to specifications and correct as needed.
• Operate forklifts/industrial trucks to move materials and equipment.
• Use CNC/robotic welding equipment and other tools as required.
• Maintain and clean equipment and assist teammates.
