Job summary

HBK Hottinger Brüel & Kjaer (HBK) in Marlborough, MA, is seeking a Production Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality outputs. You will troubleshoot basic issues, perform routine inspections, and follow 5S and safety policies on-site.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing or technical environments, with soldering/crimping tasks and use of common hand tools. On-site work five days a week with competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing, production, or technical environment.
• Knowledge of cable and harness assembly, including crimping and soldering.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and safety docs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment; perform routine inspections.
• Assemble/test parts using blueprints and schematics.
• Test functionality of soldered sensors and assemble prototypes with project engineer.
• Follow documented procedures and ensure safety and 5S organization.
• Contribute to continuous improvement related to efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Maintain clean work area; follow lockout/tagout procedures.
