Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for a Production Associate on 1st and 2nd shifts in Lincoln, NE. You will assemble parts according to drawings and work instructions, inspect parts, and rotate through different tasks to support a smooth production flow.

Responsibilities include using gauges/calipers to verify measurements, documenting production steps, and assisting new team members while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role is contract-to-hire with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience reading work instructions or blueprints.
• 6+ months experience in an assembly role in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and write English to understand work orders, instructions, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts per drawings, specification sheets, and work instructions while meeting quality and quantity objectives.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions to determine assembly requirements.
• Position and align parts to ensure proper fit and function.
• Use measurement tools to verify part accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Perform quality checks and follow established quality control procedures.
• Complete necessary production and quality paperwork online or on the line as needed.
• Assist new employees with learning how to operate equipment and understanding docs.
• Rotate through all departmental jobs within the assembler classification to support production needs.
• Attend required training sessions to maintain and improve skills, safety awareness, and quality knowledge.
