Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Process Assessor in Annapolis, MD to evaluate purchased and internal components, ensuring drawings and specifications are met and that inspection equipment and environmental conditions are maintained for proper quality control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years of inspection or manufacturing experience.
• The ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Experience using calibrated measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, optical comparator).
• Experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
• Experience with performing visual, in-process and final dimensional inspections on tightly tolerance piece parts, subassemblies, and final assembly.
• Experience with review of supplier test data and certification packages.
• Experience with performing required inspections in accordance with procedures and planning documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.Government Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).
