Job summary

American Direct Sales is seeking an entry-level Finishing Operator to join our fast-paced digital print production team in Indiana. You will operate and maintain finishing equipment, including a cutter, laminator, die cutter, and UV coater, ensuring materials are finished to high standards.

The role reports to the Production Manager and typically runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with potential overtime during peak seasons. Training is available for those new to finishing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in a print production or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with finishing equipment a plus; training available.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and measurements.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing equipment: paper cutter, laminator, die cutter, and UV coater.
• Review job tickets and specifications for correct finishing procedures.
• Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of finishing equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with production and design teams for seamless workflow.
• Assist in preparing, packing, and labeling orders.
