Job summary

Mittera Creative + Tech is seeking a skilled Press Operator to operate and maintain printing presses for high-quality trading cards. The role involves setting up presses, monitoring print quality, making adjustments during production, and ensuring color standards are met.

You will work closely with prepress, finishing, quality control and production teams to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate has prior experience with commercial printing equipment, strong attention to detail, and understands

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Press Operator or similar manufacturing role.
• Strong understanding of color, registration, print quality and production processes.
• Ability to read and follow job specifications and production instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor printing presses for trading cards and related materials.
• Prepare press equipment, load paper, inks, coatings and other materials.
• Perform make-ready and adjust registration, color, ink density and pressure.
• Monitor production to maintain consistent print quality.
• Inspect sheets for color accuracy, registration and defects.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate larger problems to maintenance.
• Maintain production, waste and quality records and keep area safe.
• Follow job tickets and production schedules to meet deadlines.
