Job summary

Anchor Fabrication LLC is seeking a skilled Brake Technician for the Lavergne, TN area. The role involves setting up and running Amada and Trumpf press brakes, interpreting blueprints, and performing first-piece and final inspections to ensure tight tolerances.

The candidate should have 5+ years in sheet metal fabrication, strong blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with ERP systems such as Epicor. Weekend/overtime flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong blueprint reading ability.
• GD&T knowledge and the ability to pass a related assessment/test.
• Experience on Amada or Trumpf brakes is a plus.
• Epicor or similar ERP exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run all machine types in the Brake Department (including Amada and Trumpf brakes).
• Interpret blueprints; complete first- and last-piece inspections and record results.
• Apply knowledge of sheet metal characteristics to achieve accurate bends and forms.
• Perform clerical and labor reporting tasks related to production.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work area.
• Support business needs with overtime or a different shift when required.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
