Gobravvo is seeking a Press Brake Operator to set up, program, and operate hydraulic and mechanical press brakes, bending sheet metal to exact specifications while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced fabrication shop.

The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, select tooling, perform first-piece inspections, and assist with routine maintenance. Heavy lifting (50 lbs+), 5S cleanliness, and strict LOTO compliance are part of daily duties.

Formación

• Experience reading blueprints and working with tight tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Physical capability to stand long shifts and lift 50 lbs+ while maintaining safety.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, calibrate, and operate hydraulic and mechanical press brakes per blueprint specifications.
• Interpret drawings, determine bend allowances, tooling sequences, and machine setup needs.
• Select, align, and secure dies, punches, and back gauges for different materials and bend angles.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and protractors.
