Job summary

Geater Machining and Manufacturing, Co. is seeking a Press Brake Operator to set up and operate forming, bending and punching machines to fabricate parts. You will analyze orders, read blueprints, set up dies, and monitor quality with measuring devices.

The role requires fluency in English, ability to work safely in a fast-paced plant, and teamwork to resolve production issues. Competitive shift premiums, bonuses, PTO, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixed and adjustable dies and gauges; adjust ram stroke.
• Operate forming, bending and punching machines to produce parts.
• Check parts during production using measuring equipment for quality and repeatability.
• Verify conformance of finished pieces to specifications and blueprints with appropriate devices.
• Fill out work orders with good parts and scrap parts.
• Communicate with engineers and operators to resolve problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
