Responsibilities

• Use measuring instruments and precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and quality of finished parts
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on forming machines to optimize performance
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of hand tools, measuring devices, and safety equipment during machine operation
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards

Requirements

• Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality control purposes
• Knowledge of shop math, basic math skills, and safety standards in production environments
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up machining tools and perform precision measurement in machining processes
