Qualifications

• 2+ years experience operating a press brake or similar CNC equipment.
• Proficient with press brake and CNC press brake systems.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Ability to measure with tape, calipers, and micrometers.
• Solid math skills for setup and fabrication.
• Experience with CNC machines and punch presses.

Responsibilities

• Set up press brake machines and related equipment according to job specifications and production requirements.
• Operate press brake and CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components with precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and forming requirements for each job.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Apply math skills to calculate bend allowances, angles, and dimensions required for accurate fabrication.
• Perform routine checks and adjustments on machines to maintain optimal performance and product quality.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and consistency, and make necessary adjustments to maintain standards.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
