Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking a Brake Press Operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 1:30am-10:00pm) in Hobart, Indiana. The role requires reading blueprints and exact measurements, operating press brakes, and complying with safety and QA standards.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience. Certifications for crane and forklift are required; LOTO preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must be able to read exact measurements on a tape measure.
• Crane and forklift certifications required; LOTO preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Operate brake presses and related equipment to form parts per fabrication plans.
• Set up and operate press brakes on a variety of parts.
• Check conformity of parts to specifications and blueprints.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Assist with minor machine maintenance and routine cleaning.
