Job summary

Health Care Logistics is seeking a press brake operator to operate and program a press brake, read blueprints, set up bends, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances. The role includes manual measurement, routine maintenance, and documentation to support assembly delivery requirements.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, machine experience, and strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow complex instructions and perform repetitive tasks safely.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Machine experience is required.
  • Ability to read and follow directions.
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
  • Must perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to solve problems with reasoning.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation.
  • May require specific training or ruler test.
  • Ability to lift 30–50 pounds safely.
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity for assembling parts.

Responsibilities

  • Operate press brake machine.
  • Run bend and forming operations with standard and custom punches.
  • Input data into CNC controller.
  • Adjust ram and back gauge per instructions and blueprints.
  • Measure height, depth and thickness with precision instruments.
  • Program CNC to produce new parts.
  • Work to tight tolerances and meet specs.
  • Produce parts for assembly operations and meet delivery requirements.
  • Perform spot inspections and routine maintenance.
  • Complete paperwork and identify parts.
  • Set up light gauge metal and configure bend allowances.
  • Check machine for defects, calibrate and clean.
  • Read drawings and blueprints.
